Lotus will confirm Trulli's new contract before the Korean GP

Confirmation of Jarno Trulli's stay at Lotus, also for next year, will arrive before the grand prix in Korea.

The Finnish newspaper Turun Sanomat made the announcement, insisting that the Italian's teammate, Heikki Kovalainen, is also ready to sign a new contract for 2011.
As already known, the 36-year-old Trulli said he was optimistic about his future in an interview given at Suzuka, despite not being certain of his reconfirmation by Lotus; he confirms that he is arriving only now.

Turun Sanomat said Finn Kovalainen - who is currently staying at the home of Lotus owner Riad Asmat in Kuala Lumpur - signed his new contract on the Sunday morning of the Italian Grand Prix last month, while discussions still on Trulli's salary.

The article also adds that Trulli has not yet signed any contract, but that the news about its star driver will certainly be announced by Lotus before the Korean GP.
Lotus has made several announcements lately regarding some changes for next year, such as: the conclusion of its contract with Cosworth, the change of the team name, the technical agreement signed with Red Bull.

The announcement of the engine supply agreement with Renault is still pending.

Lotus had joked about its situation at the end of qualifying in Suzuka which was interrupted by rain, revealing that the team "has no announcement to make, for the first time in weeks".
