Heineken could join Red Bull

But it won't be an economic partnership

Heineken could join Red Bull

Fresh from signing with Bernie Ecclestone for a $150 million partnership the Heineken has decided to put more meat on the fire of the Circus and for the near future will support two teams despite not appearing with its logo on cars and suits.

“Ours will not be a true economic collaboration but more of psychological support and a way to allow people to come into contact with this exclusive world” – explained senior director Gianluca di Tondo.

“Regarding the teams we could join, I can tell you that we are very close to an agreement with Red Bull alone, partly because we belong to the same market area and secondly due to the presence of Max Verstappen, useful from a marketing point of view being Dutch like the brand. We are still evaluating the second name” – she underlined.

So at the time of the announcement the manager declared that we will have to wait for the Italian GP next September of which he will be the title sponsor.
