FOTA will discuss Brawn's money on May 6

The FOTA meeting which could cost Brawn GP 30 million euros will be held on May 6, in the week of the Spanish Grand Prix. FOTA's commercial boss, Flavio Briatore, furious about the loudspeaker affair, will propose during the meeting that Brawn GP not receive the money for TV rights and travel expenses due for the last three years.

“I don't want to be Robin Hood,” Renault's team manager told the Spanish press, “but I don't have money in my budget for a new diffuser and I don't want to finish the season one second behind Brawn. I think the distribution of the money should be reviewed," Briatore said.

The Italian also said that he will try to torpedo Ross Brawn from the position of technical commissioner of FOTA.

According to German news agency SID, 70 percent of the teams must agree for the money owed to Honda for 2009 to go to Brawn GP. Ross Brawn declined to comment. "I won't answer. It's a shame that he brings private things to FOTA in public, but that's his style. I prefer not to talk about it," he said.
