Force India closes the top ten in FP2 at the Hungaroring

Force India reaches the top ten in the second free practice of the Hungarian GP. Nico Hulkenberg finished in ninth place, ahead of teammate Sergio Perez by 104 thousandths. The German and the Mexican have completed 79 laps in total, with Hulk that preceded Czech also in this special ranking (41 laps to 38).

"It was a pretty normal Friday, with no big surprises – declared Hulkenberg – The new asphalt represents a big difference compared to previous years. The bumps that were one of the characteristics of this track have disappeared and the new asphalt has much more grip. I think the times are a couple of seconds lower than those recorded here in previous years. The initial sensations are quite positive. Naturally there will be some work to do, trying to optimize our pace both in qualifying and in the race".

"It was a very useful day – Perez's comment – even if the red flag (caused by Lewis Hamilton, ed.) it damaged our work on the flying lap. We have made some changes and now we will analyze the various data to choose the best setup for qualifying and the race. With the new asphalt there is more grip, which has allowed a significant improvement in performance compared to last year".
