The FIA meeting in Türkiye modifies the 2013 regulation again

The last FIA meeting of 2012 was held in Istanbul on Wednesday.

There are several changes to the technical/sporting regulations that will be operational from next season. First of all, more stringent tests will be carried out on the bending level of the front wing, the minimum weight allowed will be increased as a consequence of the greater weight of the tyres, it will no longer be possible to attribute the stop on the track at the end of qualifying to causes of force majeure and for safety reasons. safety the use of DRS in trials will only be allowed in the points granted in the race.

Finally, as regards the calendar, the German GP has been set for 7 July, while the 21st of the same month will still take place in Europe but in locations yet to be decided.
