The FIA proposes new cameras for single-seaters

As always happens in the event of an accident, in the days following an accident there is a great deal of suggestions and solutions to improve safety.

Obviously the case of Fernando Alonso in Barcelona was not immune to this practice and on March 20th in Geneva the World Motorsport Council should approve the revision of article 27.2 of the sporting regulations on video images.

“To simplify the analyses, each car must be equipped with a high-speed camera produced by the official supplier of the Federation according to the specifications indicated by you – the text of the provision – The system will be applied in every race and collective test. The teams will have to ensure its constant functioning."

Finally, the obligation for pilots to use ear accelerometers to implement data collection is proposed.
