The FIA will discuss the Ferrari case on 8 September

The World Motor Sport Council will discuss the case of the team orders given by Ferrari at the German Grand Prix on September 8th at its headquarters in Paris, the federation itself announced in a statement.

Initially the hearing had been set for September 10th in Como but it coincided with the first day of free practice for the Italian Grand Prix, hence the need to move the meeting to allow Ferrari to carry out the session regularly of tests.

The president of the FIA, Jean Todt, will not be present at the council which will be chaired by his deputy Graham Stoker.

Ferrari takes note of the decision but focuses on the development of the car (another week and then mandatory holidays for the technicians) and the newfound competitiveness. President Montezemolo: “We must continue to look ahead and believe in the fact that today we are fighting for the championship. This is the Ferrari that I like to see and this is the spirit that the fans want: a team that can fight and deliver results."
