Ferrari takes up Red Bull's concept on the exhaust gas system

In free practice at Hockenheim, Ferrari tested the system that keeps the pressure of the exhaust gases blowing into the diffuser constant, taking up an idea introduced by Red Bull.

The ability to have a balanced car with a downforce level that never drops beyond a certain limit, especially in slow corners, is hypothesized to be one of the cards that makes Red Bull invincible in the qualifying session.

Ferrari successfully tested the solution during free practice in Germany, Renault and McLaren are also working on the same system, but Webber and Vettel's cars at the moment always seem to maintain a certain margin over the competition.

Fernando Alonso before qualifying: “The Red Bulls are the cars to beat on Saturday. We hope to make his life more difficult this weekend."

The Maranello team has decided to continue with the development of the F10 but there are some who already give it up for doom in the fight for the championship, Niki Lauda: "The world title went to them"; Eddie Jordan: “Ferrari no longer have any chance of winning the world championship this year.”
