For the Toro Rosso couple in Sepang the weather will be the real unknown

Kvyat: “More optimism than Melborune”

Returned home from Australia with a haul of six points the Toro Rosso aims to reach the top ten with both cars in Malaysia too.

“This will be my second race in the Circus but the first on a track I am familiar with, having made my debut there with single-seaters and having obtained the very first victory in 2010 for BMW – the words of Daniil Kvyat – The track itself is quite interesting and the heat and humidity make it unique. Compared to Melbourne I feel more confident."

“To be honest it's not one of my favorite tracks since I don't see anything complex about it, the only thing is the uncertain weather so you can start on the slicks and after just a few laps have to put on the extreme wet ones - the consideration of Jean-Eric Vergne – I must say, however, that the support from the public is extraordinary and then I have the fond memories of my first points scored in F1 in 2012."
