Kubica will know whether he will be able to race in 2012 at the beginning of November

Robert Kubica and Renault may not be aligned with their roadmaps. The Pole is trying to recover from his injury to return to Formula 1. Encouraging signs have come from his doctor, Riccardo Ceccarelli, and his manager, Daniele Morelli, who declared this week that Kubica will almost certainly make a full recovery from his bad accident in February to be able to race already in 2012.

But Renault boss Eric Boullier, with Vitaly Petrov, Bruno Senna and Romain Grosjean available, has set the end of October as the deadline to decide the driver line-up for next season.

Doctor Ceccarelli, however, declared to Gazzetta dello Sport that he will only be able to guarantee Kubica's full recovery for 2012 at the beginning of November.

And manager Morelli added: "I often speak with Boullier and we will give him the response, whether positive or negative, at the beginning of November we will have a clearer idea."
