Kevin Magnussen promotes Renault: “We have a good car”

Out of the points in Melbourne, Kevin Magnussen he still promotes his single-seater Renault rs16. The Danish driver finished the Australian GP in twelfth position behind teammate Palmer, however demonstrating an encouraging pace halfway through the race and managing to resist attacks from various rivals. Magnussen also suffered a puncture on the first lap, a setback which undoubtedly compromised his race.

“I think ours is a really good car – assured Kevin – The pace we kept in the second part of the race was very good, as was the set-up we found. I believe the base is excellent and by continuing to develop it we will achieve better and better performance. The start wasn't easy, while the pace after the restart was encouraging and gives me hope for the next races. I'm confident".
