Istanbul Park: from F1 circuit to used car dealership

The chances of the Turkish GP returning to the F1 calendar now seem to have faded. Istanbul Park, theater of the Turkish race between 2005 and 2011, designed by Hermann Tilke and famous for the beautiful turn 8, left the Circus due to financial problems and the lack of interest from the local public.

The circuit, which cost almost 300 million dollars, would now be transformed into a used car dealership according to local newspaper Sozcu.

A rental company has in fact signed a 10-year agreement with the aim of selling 25000 used cars at the Istanbul Park Auto Market.
