McLaren engineer moves to Mercedes

Phil Prew, historical name of McLaren he left the stable to join the Mercedes.

Already away from the circuits for weeks, from next January 1st he will hold the position of chief engineer working at the Brixworth headquarters to ensure greater synergy between the power unit and chassis departments.

In his new adventure in the Stuttgart team he will return to collaborate with two names known in the many seasons spent in Woking (he joined in 1997), namely Lewis Hamilton and Paddy Lowe.
