The financial crisis is gradually affecting all banking systems in the world. Now ING, a Dutch bank, has announced that it no longer wants to renew its contract which saw it as the main sponsor of the Renault team. The agreement with the French team started in 2007 and was for a duration of 3 years, in addition the bank was also a sponsor of many Grands Prix, but recently due to many losses it has reduced its participation by 40% and the withdrawal was made official at the end of 2009.
