Simon Pagenaud also made the virtual race in Motegi his own after winning in the simulated Michigan basin seven days earlier
Simon Pagenaud won the second consecutive virtual race on the iRacing simulation platform. The Frenchman, at ease on ovals as demonstrated by the victory seven days earlier in Michigan (and obviously that of the Indianapolis 500, this time real, last May) took advantage of the patatrac with 10 laps to go among the top three, namely Scott McLaughlin, Scott Dixon and Will Power, involved in an accident with the New Zealand driver of Team Penske heavily hitting the wall. Pagenaud defended himself from Dixon's final attack, but managed to prevail for the second consecutive week. Let's relive the last laps of the virtual race with commentary from Carlo Vanzini and Matteo Bobbi.
