Rossi's test with Ferrari is in doubt
Valentino Rossi's test with the Ferrari F2008 is in doubt.
The champion from Tavullia was hospitalized at the Sal Salvatore hospital in Pesaro on Thursday due to severe abdominal pain.
He was diagnosed with inflammation of the appendicitis which will be treated with the administration of antibiotics.
A few days ago, team principal Stefano Domenicali confirmed the test that Rossi will carry out in the two days in Barcelona starting on Wednesday.
According to some rumors, the Italian centaur could move to the world of four wheels, in the event that Ferrari has a third car.
“It is not certain that the use of the third car is allowed, in that case Valentino will be welcome” commented Felipe Massa to Corriere dello Sport.
Domenicali instead declared: "In our opinion the third car could be a good move, especially if a driver like Valentino was interested in racing in F1"
