The Lotus F1 team could change its name in 2011
di Staff12 September 2010
The Lotus Formula 1 team may be forced to change its name for the 2011 season. The Malaysian team currently uses the glorious name under license from Lotus Cars.
According to the French magazine Auto Plus, Tony Fernandez's team could change its name for two reasons: Lotus has been sued by Force India in court for alleged theft of intellectual property. Furthermore, Lotus Cars would like to revoke the license to use the name exclusively for its sports programs in the USA.
