Mexico names a corner of the circuit after Mansell

The last corner of the Mexico City track which will return to host F1 at the end of October after a twenty-year break will be named after Nigel Mansell, winner in 1992 and protagonist a couple of seasons before overtaking Gerhard Berger on the outside of the Peraltada curve which later went down in history.

“When I heard the news I felt proud and happy – the Briton told the Circus' official website – I have excellent memories of that track and its audience. In recent months I have carefully followed the work of the organizers. I hope to be able to go there soon to see for myself."
