Hulkenberg's manager thinks about moving to Force India

Force India is emerging as Nico Hulkenberg's most likely destination to remain in Formula 1 next year. The promising German rookie has not had his contract extended by Williams, as the English team clearly wants a paying driver. “I'm really sorry, because I would have been happy to stay,” said the 23-year-old.

Willi Weber, Hulkenberg's manager, reveals: “I am negotiating with other teams. Nico will still have a seat in 2011." He then explained to the SID news agency that more news will be available within "one or two weeks" and that "he must remain in Formula 1. He is the future great hope of German motor racing after Vettel and Rosberg". Auto Motor und Sport has named Silverstone-based Force India as the best option, as Adrian Sutil is looking for a seat elsewhere and Vitantonio Liuzzi's future is difficult although he already has a contract for 2011 in hand.

Hulkenberg “costs much less than Sutil, but also brings in much less money than the sponsors” highlighted the German newspaper. Another seat could open up at Renault, but the latest reports say that Russian rookie Vitaly Petrov should have done enough to keep the seat along with his sponsors.
And Spanish newspaper El Mundo reports that the Kremlin could replenish Petrov's coffers in 2011, now that Russia is embarking on plans to build a Formula 1 circuit. "Soon we will know what will happen," Petrov told Britain's The Guardian. “We are moving forward, always forward, in the right direction.”
