The Spanish GP could be held in Valencia in 2014
Barcelona opens to annual alternation

Valencia could return to Formula 1 in 2014. The race in the Spanish port has been excluded from the 2013 calendar but could host the Spanish GP next year.
All thanks to an annual alternation with Barcelona, until now the fixed location of the Spanish GP.
“If Valencia can host the race in 2014, there will be alternation,” Catalunya president Artur Mas told Diario Sport.
“It just depends on them,” he added. “If Valencia is able to host the Spanish GP in 2014 then that will be it, otherwise we will host it, because unlike two years ago, we have the financial capacity to do it every year”.
