Mallya's son will have a future in Formula 1 management

Vijay Mallya's son has confirmed that he will venture into managing a Formula 1 team in the future.
23-year-old Sidhartha Mallya, with an economics degree from London, is already a director of United Breweries, his billionaire father's company, and manages the Indian cricket team Royal Challengers.
His father, now 54, among other things owns and manages the Formua 1 team Force India, and therefore many rumors report that Sidharta Mallya's future will be on the pit wall.
Sidharta Mallya explained to the Deccan Chronicle newspaper: “It is easier to manage a cricket team than a Formula 1 team. The IPL (the cricket championship) has a short duration, while the Formula 1 calendar develops over a period of time. nine months. Keeping the team in shape requires a lot of work and energy. Due to my commitments within the UB group, I cannot dedicate myself one hundred percent to racing at the moment."
“The transition to Formula 1 will happen in the future” he admitted, while explaining how motor racing was not his greatest passion: “After having witnessed twenty very tough and hard-fought cricket matches, watching a car lap on a track for 65 turns is incredibly boring."
