23-year-old Sidhartha Mallya, with an economics degree from London, is already a director of United Breweries, his billionaire father's company, and manages the Indian cricket team Royal Challengers.
His father, now 54, among other things owns and manages the Formua 1 team Force India, and therefore many rumors report that Sidharta Mallya's future will be on the pit wall.
Sidharta Mallya explained to the Deccan Chronicle newspaper: “It is easier to manage a cricket team than a Formula 1 team. The IPL (the cricket championship) has a short duration, while the Formula 1 calendar develops over a period of time. nine months. Keeping the team in shape requires a lot of work and energy.
