F1 title contenders recreate famous photo with Ecclestone

We have already proposed it to you in one of the news of the day but now we are dedicating more space to it. On Thursday, Formula 1 had fun recreating a famous scene from the past. In 1986 the fight for the world championship reached its peak in Adelaide with the magnificent four as protagonists, Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell and Nelson Piquet, who on that occasion posed with Bernie Ecclestone on the pit wall for a photo session.

Almost 25 years later, there are five drivers fighting for the 1 F2010 world championship and so Ecclestone has returned to the wall to recreate those moments in a modern way.

This time the protagonists, in addition to the CEO of F1, are Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Mark Webber, Jenson Button and Sebastian Vettel, portrayed on the wall of the new Korean Yeongam circuit.

“It was nice to take photos with the other guys” declared world championship leader Mark Webber. “He reminds us of some of our heroes,” he added.
