Hulkenberg sarcastic: "I'm happy with Force India, dreams in red are dangerous"

Nico Hulkenberg, who came close to Ferrari at the end of 2013 before Kimi Raikkonen was preferred to him, spoke to the official Formula 1 website, where he expressed his desire to do well in 2016 and perhaps get on the podium.

The very fast Force India driver, winner of the 24h of Le Mans with Porsche in 2015, said he was extremely satisfied with his team, happy to have extended his contract with the Anglo-Indian team. Hulk added that in F1 you have to stay focused on the GPs, without dreaming too much. And that dreaming of Ferrari is only counterproductive.

“I'm ready to give my all in 2016, happy to have extended my agreement with Force India - Hulkenberg said – F1 is not just what you see on the grid, there is a lot behind it. There are the people you work with, the team automation and I am very happy at Force India. I feel very comfortable here and I don't think about anything else, everyone in the team is really nice. In Formula 1, dreaming is dangerous, especially having red dreams..."

This last statement suggests that Nico was at least "burned" by that dream (in red) which was interrupted with a cold text message sent to him by the Cavallino leaders in November 2013.
