Hulkenberg: “More than that is impossible and I hope for points for the race”
Both Force Indias will start from the top ten
We celebrate at Force India at the end of Saturday's qualifying. In fact, both drivers managed to enter the top ten in Sochi, separated by just four hundredths of a second.
“I am quite satisfied with today's result – the opinion of Nico Hulkenberg, 6th – Despite the few kilometers covered in free practice, the sensations in the car were good and the balance gave me confidence. I don't think it would have been possible better than this. I expect an interesting race given that we don't know what the response of the tires will be over the distance and the strategy to be adopted will also be an unknown. I hope to be able to convert this position into important points."
“It's always difficult to manage the car when you haven't been able to work much on the track, not to mention that this circuit is quite complex, so I can only be happy – he said Sergio Perez, 4th and 7th – I set the time with used tyres, demonstrating that the super softs take a while to reach temperature and express themselves to their maximum. I think tomorrow the degradation will be high. It won't be a walk in the park but I'm optimistic."
