HRT: equipment and vehicles already sold

The equipment and spare parts for HRT, the Spanish F1 team which went bankrupt at the end of 2012 and will not be at the start of the new season, have already been sold. Spanish newspaper AS reports that Teo Martin, a well-known recycler of automotive components, has bought much of the team's spare parts and equipment.

The HRT headquarters in Madrid has already been emptied and decommissioned.

Teo Martin allegedly purchased the 2011 and 2012 cars, a show car, a truck, tools, machinery, furniture and other assets.

The 2012 engines were instead returned to Cosworth while the gearboxes, which had been rented, went back to Williams.

“The value of the transaction is not known” we read on AS.
