HRT: Double retreat in Türkiye

Karun Chandhok:
“It's a bit frustrating to be ranked twentieth. In the first stint I was struggling with my slower pace than Bruno and the Virgins. But as we changed the tires the pace came back. At the start of the race, the refueling failed and I struggled with poor speed on the straight. Unfortunately, I finished my race five laps before the checkered flag.”

Bruno Senna:
“I had a pretty good race today. The start was good and I was able to recover some positions. The first laps were also good. In the end I had a problem with the fuel system and that's why I had to retire. During the race, we were a bit unlucky with traffic due to Virgin. It's sad because we had a problem with the fuel pressure which made us end the race prematurely.”
