Horner will not go to Ferrari

Christian Horner has denied the rumors of his move to Ferrari to the English press. While Red Bull is preparing to fight for the world championship for the fourth consecutive time in 2012, Ferrari has started its season badly with a car that does not even appear ready to fight for the podium.

Designer Adrian Newey has repeatedly denied his interest in a move to Maranello and now Horner, the 38-year-old team principal of Red Bull, has also snubbed the Red Bull.

“Ferrari is a great team but my future is at Red Bull,” he told the Sun.

“Dietrich Mateschitz gave me a chance at 31 to enter Formula 1 and build a team for him,” he added to the Daily Mail. “I really feel part of this team and I don't have a desire to work for Ferrari. I'm happy where I am. I have a multi-year commitment” reiterated Horner.
