Horner: “No changes at Red Bull due to new wing checks”

Christian Horner is convinced that Red Bull should not change its 2010 Formula 1 car ahead of the Belgian GP. After the controversy triggered by other teams over the flexibility of the front wings of the RB6 and the high-speed Ferrari F10, the FIA ​​has made it known that the technical checks will be modified for the Spa-Francorchamps race.

There has been talk of the possibility that many teams will be forced to modify their cars to pass the new tests, but according to the Red Bull team principal the Austrian team is not among them.

“Based on the documents sent by the FIA, we are convinced that our car still meets these criteria,” Horner told Autosport newspaper.

If that were the case, with some rival teams forced to overhaul their wings, Red Bull could find itself with an even greater advantage over the competition.
