Horner: “2014 was a great lesson for Vettel”

Not all evil has a silver lining. For Christian horner the fall of the "god" Sebastian Vettel among human drivers which took place in 2014 will in fact only be good for the four-time German world champion, struggling for the first time with a single-seater not to his liking and an uncomfortable partner like Ricciardo.

“His was a complicated year, one of those that forge character, despite the fact that he never let himself be discouraged or even gave in to easy criticism aimed at the team – declared the team principal Red Bull at Autosport – At times he lacked luck and in general he was unable to adapt to the car and the regulations, without forgetting the comparison with his strong colleague in the garage, a novelty for him until then accustomed to dominating. I think it was a great lesson."
