Hamilton will know how to handle the pressure

Lewis Hamilton is preparing to face the last race of the championship with still the possibility of winning the drivers' title. The Englishman needs a couple of miracles to hope that Ferrari and Red Bull don't score points and he wins the race but, as we know, in Formula One nothing is impossible until the race is over.

Despite the difficult task, Hamilton promised to push until the last lap but not to feel the pressure that in these cases a driver who is fighting for the world championship in the last race can have.

Hamilton: “I've been in contention for the world championship in the last race twice before, I know all about the pressure you feel when the title is within reach. This year is a little different, I am aware that, having a 24 point gap, it will not be enough to win the race or finish ahead of the others, the pressure in these cases is much lower".

Then he clarifies: “This doesn't mean that I will face the race weekend less motivated: we have seen this year how things can be unpredictable and advantages can disappear in an instant. The championship isn't over until you cross the finish line, I know this from personal experience."

Hamilton, like Whitmarsh, believes that 2010 was one of the biggest and most hard-fought world championships in history.
