F1 | Hamilton curious to see the "new" Red Bull: "Perez will make the team stronger"
"The situation will be different compared to this year," declared the English rider
During the FIA Prize Giving 2020, Lewis Hamilton expressed an evaluation of the new Red Bull line-up for the 2021 season, highlighting how the arrival of Sergio Perez in Milton Keynes will help Max Verstappen and the team itself to extract the maximum of their potential.
According to the Mercedes driver, the quality of "Checo", combined with his experience, will help the Austrian team to maximize the collection of points during the season, effectively making the fight for the constructors' title more open.
“I am sure that Sergio Perez will make Red Bull stronger, especially if “Checo” maintains the level of driving from last season,” said the seven-time World Champion. “With all due respect to Alex [Albon.ndr], most of the races featured me, Valtteri and Max. There was no inclusion of the second Red Bull in our battles. I honestly know how Verstappen must have felt this year, as I also experienced a similar situation several years ago at McLaren."
