Hamilton and Kovalainen: "Silverstone, an ideal circuit for racing"

"The two biggest things at Silverstone are the fans and the track. It's great to see and meet people from all over the country and the world. When I'm in the car I can actually see the fans around the circuit waving flags and celebrating It's like they're with me every lap – it's incredible! Driving here is incredible. Copse, Becketts and Bridge are fantastic, and show the power and grip of an F1. It's a great place to race, so hopefully It's not the last race on this track."

"Silverstone is a fantastic circuit! I took my first F1 pole position here last year and I remember how great it was to drive the car to the limit on this circuit. I love the fast corners, this is where a car of F1 is at its best and your whole body is at the limit. Even though we know that our car will not be at its best in the fast corners, the challenge for the driver is still to push to the limit. After a couple of races disappointing, it would be fantastic to get back into the points in my home GP."
