Hamilton: “It's difficult to comment, that's how life goes”
The McLaren driver also congratulates his teammate, Jenson Button, for the victory in the Belgian GP
It is difficult to comment on a Grand Prix like the one that took place today in Belgium on the circuit Spa-Francorchamps. Difficult especially for those who like Lewis Hamilton he wasn't even able to leave and it was certainly not his fault.
At the start, Romain Grosjean Hamilton was the one who closed it when he touched him. The French driver's Lotus crashed dangerously Ferrari di Fernando Alonso who, fortunately, was not injured. Perez was also forced to retire and the safety car came out immediately and remained on the track for four laps, until the circuit was completely cleaned.
Hamilton's reaction at the time of the accident was logically angry: the McLaren driver got out of the car, heading towards Grosjean and asking him "if he was crazy". Then, he briefly commented on what happened: “It's difficult to say anything. I couldn't even sweat, but I can't help it, life is like that. I congratulate Jenson on the race: this shows that the team is doing well. Now let's hope for the next appointment. The fight for the title is getting more difficult but there are still several races to go.".
