Star of the first day at Silverstone and in a nutshell uncatchable for the competition, Lewis Hamilton can define himself as satisfied with the start of his home weekend.
“It was a fantastic start. The balance of the car proved to be good and the sensations experienced in the passages between the Maggotts, the Becketts and the Stowe were truly exciting” – said the Briton from Mercedes.
“The wind made everything even crazier. It felt like a roller coaster! For the rest we need to improve our speed but over distance we are in good shape. If there are no problems we can achieve an excellent result” – the rightly optimistic conclusion.
