Haas, Gutierrez: “I like Baku, it's a challenging track”

Even for Esteban Gutierrez of Haas, the Baku track is a completely new challenge, given the alternation of slow and fast sections with the unknown due to the fact that it is the first time for everyone. The Mexican also admitted that he particularly enjoyed the simulator track.

“For the preparation of this race, which is completely new, the simulator was very important. It was a nice experience. Baku is a very challenging track and I really enjoyed it – said Gutierrez on the eve of the Azerbaijani weekend – I can't wait to race. There will be a level playing field between the riders, but the fact remains that we are a young team, with less overall experience than the others. It's difficult to make predictions, but we are optimistic and will try to do our best on this new circuit. After all, it is a track completely different from the others. It will be an interesting challenge for everyone."
