Haas, Grosjean: “The Sochi circuit is suitable for the VF16”
The Frenchman seeks redemption in the Russian GP after the disappointment in Shanghai
Leaving behind the disappointment of the Chinese GP, where the Haas suffered too much from the degradation of the front tires, and concentrating on the next Russian GP, with a track which due to its characteristics - "traction" and low tire degradation - It should adapt well to the American single-seater.
It's a Romain Grosejan looking for redemption, who wants to amaze again after the great performances offered in Australia and Bahrain.
“Shanghai is a very severe circuit with the front of the car, we suffered too much degradation on the left front - explained Romain, who then spoke about the next Russian GP - The Sochi track is completely different; in some ways it is more similar to Bahrain where we did very well. The hope is to bring the level of the car back to where we want it and find the right set-up, in any case it will be easier to manage the tyres. I like the design of the track, there are very fun fast corners, it's a well-organized circuit that allows you to drive, I hope to be able to have a good race."
