DRS failure, no penalty for Jenson Button

No action will be taken against Jenson Button regarding the DRS issue for which he had been placed under investigation during the first free practice session of the Italian GP in Monza.

The pilot McLaren he had, in fact, used the DRS in an unauthorized section, the one between the Variante Ascari and the Parabolica curve. The rear wing of the car had not closed in time due to a malfunction of the device which had not responded to Button's commands.

McLaren technicians managed to demonstrate the problem with telemetry and as a result the British driver only received a warning.
