Grosjean paid by Lotus
The Geneva native wanted to underline his reserve towards Raikkonen
Romain Grosjean has finally received the much desired 2013 salary from Lotus and after announcing it to the world he wanted to make a distinction with his former boxing partner Raikkonen, the most famous of the unpaid, who last autumn was the first to make the story of the missed payments public.
“Personally I never spoke about it in front of the media because I thought they were my problems, it was Kimi who raised the issue – the French-Swiss thought to Autosport – It certainly wasn't easy for the guys in the team and even if things weren't always have been addressed adequately, the team spirit has remained. Despite the difficulties on the track for which we are seeking a remedy, we can say that on an economic level there should be no further problems which is an advantage in such a moment."
