Grosjean: “Kimi's difficulties are the result of an unsuitable car”

Romain Grosjean defends his former Lotus colleague Raikkonen and to the now well-known question of the lack of motivation which would cause the Finn to consistently produce mediocre results, he responds with a more technical explanation.

“The 2014 single-seaters aren't suited to his style – he argued to Autosport – He likes to have a stable front. It's hard to put into words but this can really alter feelings and confidence."

Then called to make a comparison with Alonso, the driver from Geneva declared: “They are both definitely strong, which is why before the start of the season I didn't have the slightest idea who could have achieved better results in Ferrari. I remember that when I raced with Fernando the car we had wasn't that great but he knew how to adapt perfectly, changing driving style if necessary and always giving 100%. Kimi, on the other hand, was quite fast, constant and able to manage the weekend."
