Grosjean: “In Montreal it's exciting to pass by the walls”

Despite the ten place penalty on the grid, the Lotus driver will try to repeat his 2012 comeback

Grosjean: “In Montreal it's exciting to pass by the walls”

The fact that when speaking about Canada you state that "it is certainly my favorite circuit on the Xbox, but in reality it is much fuller of potholes and bumps than when you experience it sitting on the sofa", highlights how much Romain Grosjean is different in his approach to F1 compared to his colored colleague Räikkönen, decidedly more pragmatic, or at least raises the doubt that many of the accidents he was involved in could have arisen from a sort of confusion between video games and real life.

Considerations aside, the pilot from Geneva continues his discussion on the company website Lotus, in addition to his Canadian expectations, he wanted to go back to the last race played: “In Monte Carlo we could have done better given the pace we had. I think we could aspire to the top 3, unfortunately however the qualifying didn't go well and there was an accident with Ricciardo during the race – he stated – In 2012 in Montreal I went up from seventh to second position, but this time I fear it will be more complicated due to the penalty, although obviously we will try to push as hard as we can and maybe get to the podium. In the end Gilles Villeneuve is an interesting track, I like the feeling of passing so close to the walls and I believe that the unpredictable weather and constantly changing grip levels will give us an exciting grand prix."
