Singapore Grand Prix – Vettel triumphs on the night at Marina Bay

The German driver is the winner of the Singapore Grand Prix ahead of Daniel Ricciardo. Kimi Raikkonen, third, confirms two Ferraris on the podium.

Leader from the start to the checkered flag. Sebastian Vettel was the splendid performer of the race held today on the Marina Bay street circuit, floodlit in the setting of the port of Singapore. The German driver, who started from pole position, led the 61 scheduled laps, managing as best as possible a race which saw the entry of the safety car onto the track twice. Vettel managed a small but crucial margin over Ricciardo's Red Bull until the final laps, crossing the finish line 1 seconds ahead of the Australian driver. The podium in Singapore also rewarded the race of Kimi Raikkonen, who occupied third position throughout the race, completing an important team result for Scuderia Ferrari.
