Hungarian GP: Vettel brings Ferrari back to the top

Sebastian Vettel wins the Hungarian Grand Prix and gives Ferrari their second victory of the season. The German from the Red team had a textbook start, burning out both Mercedes and then managing to masterly manage his advantage throughout the race, despite the entry of the safety car. Behind him both Red Bulls on the podium for the first time in 2015, with Kvyat ahead of Ricciardo.
Verstappen, Alonso, Hamilton, Grosjean, Rosberg, Button and Ericsson complete the top ten. Both Mercedes they were the protagonists of several contacts, in a daring race and the likes of which have not been seen for some time.
Unfortunately, I retreat for a spectacular one Raikkonen, who made us dream for over half the race in a red-tinged double.

News – Massa positioned himself incorrectly on the grid and we therefore witnessed a second lap of formation. The Brazilian will later get a 5 second penalty for this. All the riders start on the used soft with the exception of Sainz, Button, Nasr, Merhi and Stevens on the new tire and Maldonado on the medium.
When the traffic lights go out Rosberg seems to start better than Hamilton but it is actually the two Reds that leap forward and burn both the Silver Arrows. Vettel takes first place and Kimi goes after him, while Hamilton and Rosberg are forced to leave the field. In the initial brawl the Brit also ends up in the gravel and slides backwards. On the first lap the two Ferraris lead the group ahead of Rosberg, Bottas, Kvyat, Hulkenberg, Ricciardo, Perez, Massa, Hamilton.
Hulkenberg moves up to fifth while Hamilton begins to champ behind Massa.

On lap 5 Hag he is in the lead over Kimi with an advantage of almost 2 seconds. Rosberg is 4 seconds behind. Followed by Bottas, Hulkenberg, Ricciardo who overtook Kvyat, Perez, Massa and Hamilton.
Ricciardo he also manages to overtake Hulkenberg, thus moving up to fourth.
On lap 10 Hamilton and Massa were wheel to wheel, with the Briton managing to take ninth place. Three laps later the reigning world champion also passes Perez's Force India and thus rises to eighth.
On lap 14 first stop for Kvyat who switches to medium. Bottas follows him and remains on soft.
On lap 18 Vettel, Kimi, Rosberg, Ricciado, Hamilton, Perez, Bottas, Ericsson, Hulkenberg, Maldonado. All the drivers except the top 5 and Maldonando made their first stop. Maldonado and Perez were involved in a contact with the Force India which ended up off the track but managed to rejoin.

On lap 20 pit stops for Hamilton who returns finding himself wheel to wheel with Bottas but manages to get away with it. The Briton remained on the soft while Rosberg, who returned on the following lap, switched to the medium.
On lap 22 it was then Vettel's turn, followed immediately by Ricciardo and Kimi on the next lap. Both return maintaining their respective positions: the German in command followed by his teammate and the Red Bull.
After the first 25 laps Vettel leads the group followed by Kimi, Rosberg, Ricciardo, Hamilton, Bottas, Hulkenberg, Kvyat, Verstappen and Alonso. Once the first stop has been made, all the drivers are on soft tires with the exception of Rosberg, Ricciardo, Kvyat and Massa.
On lap 29 Hamilton easily managed to overtake Ricciardo and thus moved into fourth place.

On lap 30 Hag is leading with Raikkonen 7.4s behind, Rosberg third at +19.3s and Hamilton at +33.5s. Followed by Ricciardo, Bottas, Hulkenberg, Verstappen, Alonso and Sainz.
On lap 34 second pit stop for Nasr's Sauber which remains on yellow tyres. Kvyat also in the pits: the Russian from Red Bull switches to soft and returns eleventh.
Raikkonen complains of power problems on his Ferrari and is passed by Alonso's McLaren, lapped.

On lap 43 Hulkenberg ends up against the barriers and the Virtual Safety Car comes into action. Many take the opportunity to enter the pits. The two Mercedes and the Ferraris switch to the medium compound. Behind the safety car are Vettel, Kimi, Rosberg, Hamilton, Ricciardo, Bottas, Verstappen, Kvyat, Sainz, Button and Alonso.
On lap 48 the restart: Hag he keeps the lead of the group while Rosberg manages to pass Kimi behind him. Ricciardo attacks Hamilton but the two touch and the Mercedes driver damages the front wing. Bottas at the back enters the fight and Verstappen behind him does the same, ending up damaging the Finn's right rear with the wing. Williams has to return to the pits.
On lap 41 Ricciardo moved up to third, passing Kimi who was complaining of problems. Hamilton is in the pits while the accident between him and Ricciardo is under investigation: the Briton gets a 5-second penalty.

On lap 57 Whom he is forced to retire while Rosberg is 1.3s behind Vettel.
Button he climbs to eighth place, while behind Sainz he is also passed by Maldonado.
Nine laps to go and Sainz's Toro Rosso is forced to retire. Meanwhile, Hamilton climbs to tenth, passing Nasr. Vettel is always the leader ahead of Rosberg, Ricciardo, Kvyat, Verstappen, Alonso, Grosjaen, Button, Ericsson and Hamilton.
Hamilton Ericsson and Button also pass, thus moving up to eighth. Up front, Ricciardo attempts to overtake Rosberg and blows out the front wing, puncturing the German's rear tyre. Both must return to the pits.
Meanwhile, Kvyat gets a 10s penalty - for a previous overtaking beyond the white line - but is still second with a 27s advantage over Ricciardo, who rejoined third. Both he and Rosberg are under investigation over the incident. Meanwhile, Hamilton moves up to sixth, passing Grosjean.
No action confirmed against Rosberg and Ricciardo for the accident.

Sebastian Vettel crosses the finish line ahead of Kvyat, Ricciardo, Verstappen, Alonso, Hamilton, Grosjean, Rosberg, Button and Ericsson.
