GP Spain: Red Bull on another planet, pole for Webber

Red Bull Racing outclassed the competition in qualifying for the Spanish Grand Prix. Mark Webber took pole position in Barcelona ahead of teammate Sebastian Vettel. Third time for Lewis Hamilton with McLaren Mercedes, 8 tenths behind.
Local idol, Fernando Alonso, is fourth with Ferrari while Jenson Button completes the top 5 with the second McLaren. Behind them, Michael Schumacher beat his Mercedes teammate, Nico Rosberg, for the first time in qualifying, only eighth today, also behind Kubica's Renault.

Only ninth was Felipe Massa with the other Ferrari while Kamui Kobayashi achieved an excellent tenth position on the grid with the Sauber. Pedro de la Rosa is 12th in the second car of the Hinwil team.

Rubens Barrichello, who rejected Williams' new updates after free practice, exited in Q1. The Brazilian complained about the traffic. Trulli, Kovalainen, Glock, di Grassi, Chandhok and Senna were also eliminated in Q1.
