Spanish GP: starting grid

Here is the starting grid for the Formula 1 Spanish GP after the post-qualifying penalties. Nico Rosberg took pole ahead of his Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton. The remaining top 5 positions go to Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso. Felipe Massa qualified in sixth place behind Alonso in the other Ferrari but was penalized for obstructing Mark Webber in Q2. The Brazilian is thus relegated to ninth position on the grid, making Romain Grosjean, Webber and Sergio Perez advance.

Esteban Gutierrez was also penalized for blocking Raikkonen. The Sauber driver moved from 16th to 19th position, behind the two Williams and Giedo van der Garde's Caterham. Jenson Button accused Pastor Maldonado of obstructing him in Q1 but the episode was not deemed relevant by the stewards.
