Spanish GP 2013, Free Practice 3: Massa in the lead, Raikkonen second by six thousandths

Felipe Massa set the best time in the third Free Practice session of the 2013 Spanish Grand Prix. In the finale, the Brazilian set a fast lap of 1:21.901, trailing Raikkonen by just 6 thousandths of a second. Third position for Mark Webber followed by Grosjean and Vettel. Sixth Alonso who nevertheless demonstrated that he has a good pace. The two Mercedes and the two McLarens are further back.

Once the session began, all the drivers progressively took to the track for the installation lap with hard compound tyres. The first timed half goes to Rosberg who is immediately overtaken by his teammate. Problems initially for Pérez due to the detachment of a flow diverter. However, the driver had time to get back on track and set fast laps.

The pace of the two Lotuses is good and they seem to have found the right set-up, while the Mercedes still have some difficulties as they are unable to be effective on a single lap. The two Force Indias did well, finishing in seventh and eighth place.

Appointment at 14 pm to follow and comment with us on the Qualifying session of the Spanish Grand Prix.
