Russian GP, ​​Free Practice 3: Rosberg at the top. Session interrupted due to a bad accident for Sainz

Session interrupted 15 minutes from the end due to a frightening accident involving Carlos Sainz. The Toro Rosso driver kept everyone in suspense after being stuck under the barriers for over 10 minutes while doctors and circuit service staff worked on his recovery.
Once removed from the car and loaded onto the stretcher, the Spaniard raised his thumb and confirmed that he was conscious. We await updates on his condition.
Free Practice 3 ended with Nico Rosberg's Mercedes in the lead ahead of Bottas, Hamilton, Perez, Massa, Hulkenberg, Button, Maldonado, Alonso and Nasr.

News – Daniel Kvyat opens the dance with his Red Bull. The pit lane is very busy, no one wants to waste even a minute after yesterday. Red Bull, Sainz, Maldonado, Ericsson and Merhi start on super soft, all the others on soft. The track is soon full, only the Ferraris hesitate in the pits.
The first time goes to Kvyat, 1:46.856, then the lead alternates between Ericsson, Ricciardo and then Bottas who wins with 1:42.829. The Finn improves and drops to 1:40.617. After the first ten minutes he leads the group followed by Grosjean, Rosberg, Ricciardo, Maldonado, Kvyat, Perez, Hamilton, Hulkenberg and Ericsson. Hamilton climbs to second place and begins a battle with first Maldonado and then Grosjean. Then Massa comes out on top, covering his teammate's back.

Almost 15 minutes after the start the two Ferraris join the group: super soft for Raikkonen and soft for Vettel. The first time trials see the pair in the middle of the grid, so Vettel takes third place behind the Williams. Then it's Kimi who places himself behind the two Grove cars, with Bottas who, after changing tires, returns to the track with the supesofts. The Finn drops to 1:40.275, while Nasr's Sauber comes behind him in second.
Rosberg switches to supersoft and immediately takes the lead in 1:38.941, while Perez takes third place.

After the first thirty minutes the German from Mercedes is in the lead followed by Bottas, Perez, Massa, Hulkenberg, Button, Maldonado, Alosno, Nasr and Kvyat. Rosberg lowers his time to 1:38.561 while Hamilton climbs to second place.
However, the red flag interrupted the session for Sainz's Toro Rosso which ended up in the barriers. The impact was apparently very strong and the car was stuck under the barriers.

The session is interrupted with fifteen minutes to go. Finally Sainz is extracted from the car, delicately loaded onto the stretcher and transported to the medical centre.
