Russian GP, Ferrari violates curfew due to a problem with Raikkonen's car
Mechanics forced to work late at night due to a reliability problem
di StaffApril 29, 2017
Ferrari had to break curfew at the Russian GP to resolve a reliability problem with Kimi Raikkonen's car. A sensor failure on the Finn's Ferrari SF70H forced the mechanics to dismantle the power unit to remove the faulty sensor and resolve the problem. Ferrari was therefore forced to break the curfew by giving up one of the two bonuses provided for by the regulations.
Yesterday it became known that Ferrari has already fitted the third turbo of the season to the cars of Sebastian Vettel and Raikkonen.
