The German public may also soon lose their Formula 1 race.

On the eve of German GP of next July 31st the organizers do not seem at all optimistic for the continuation of the German adventure in the circus after 2018.

The head of the circuit himself admitted it Hockenheim, Georg Seiler: “We have a contract for 2016 and 2018 – he told the SID agency – We certainly want to stay in Formula 1, above all for the image of the circuit, but everything must work economically”.

He's not doing any better Nurburgring, who last year gave up his turn due to financial problems: “We would like to host the German GP – said Mirco Markfort, new head of the track – but to do so the right economic conditions must be present. We cannot afford Formula 1 at any cost."

Meanwhile, according to RTL reports, ticket sales for Sunday's match are proving disappointing. The coupons issued are currently 52 thousand compared to a minimum objective of 60 thousand. Without public response, the future seems increasingly bleak.
