Russian GP more expensive than expected

The dream of bringing F1 to Russia is proving to be particularly dear. In fact, if in the first estimates there was talk of a 142 million project, now we have reached 260.

This was stated by the local economic newspaper Vedomosti and the representative of the promoter Omega Center Guennadi Saienko.

“The initial figures were calculated approximately, without taking into consideration many of the requests of the designer Hermann Tilke and his company which supervised the construction of the plant – his words – In any case everything will be ready by the set date and when the calendar is officially published you will see this appointment without an asterisk."
