British GP – Vettel gets back to the podium, Raikkonen eighth
In difficult weather conditions Seb regains third position
di Staff5 July 2015
Ferrari F1 – It started under a summer sun, but the British Grand Prix proposed the classic English script, with the sudden arrival of rain in the last third of the race. Raikkonen, who occupied fifth position, switched to intermediate tires on lap 38, while Vettel switched to intermediate tires four laps later. A margin that made the difference in tire management, as the rain increased significantly just when Sebastian made his pit stop. Vettel, thanks to his excellent strategy, thus went from sixth to third final position, returning to the podium after two races of absence. Raikkonen was forced to make a further stop due to tire degradation, and finished in eighth place. The race was won by Lewis Hamilton's Mercedes.
